Questions

What is the most common screen resolution?

1920 × 1080 (Full HD) remains the most common desktop resolution worldwide by a wide margin, followed by 1366 × 768 on older laptops and 2560 × 1440 on enthusiast monitors.

What is the difference between 2K and 1440p?

In consumer marketing they usually mean the same thing: 2560 × 1440. Strictly, 2K is the DCI cinema standard of 2048 × 1080, but almost nobody uses it that way outside film production.

Is 4K four times 1080p?

Yes, in pixel count. 3840 × 2160 is exactly double the width and double the height of 1920 × 1080, which makes four times the pixels.
